GOSPEL TRACTS

This song was written for a conference held in Detroit, MI on 10/18-19/08.
The topic was A Heart that Converses with God--Effective Prayer.
The content was based on Matt. 6:9-13.

Audio recordings of the messages are available at:
www.churchindetroit.org

Each meeting I spoke first and then Rick Coleman followed.

8.7.8.7. with chorus

(Can be sung to the tune:
Jesus! What a Friend for Sinners!)

God desires to have a kingdom,
As in heaven, so on earth.
So His Son became the Savior
To give man a second birth.

          Kingdom, power, glory, honor,
          Unto all eternity.
          God and man together reigning
          In that city heav’nly

Sanctified the Father’s name is
When we take Him as our source.
Daily bread our only portion—
Follow not the worldly course.

Come to earth, Your heav’nly kingdom,
Manifest for all to see.
Loving as our Father loved us
Setting all our debtors free.

That the Father’s will in heaven
On this earth at last be done.
Kept by God from the rebellion
Started by the evil one.

Sanctify, God, all our being
Spirit, soul and body too.
‘Till on earth we have Your kingdom
And forever reign with You.
