GOSPEL TRACTS

This tract was written to be distributed several weeks before Christmas to the tourists visiting Frankenmuth, MI. Frankenmuth is known as "Christmas City" due to all it's shops which cater to that holiday. Thousands visit every day from all over the world during the Christmas season.

The last portion is from a Christian hymn, author unknown.

For unto us a child is born,
unto us a Son is given;
and the government
shall be upon His shoulder.
And His name shall be called
Wonderful, Counselor,
The Mighty God,
The Everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6

...a Child was born...

 Out of billions of children born there was a unique one,
Jesus
, born 2,000 years ago.
...the holy thing which is born...
(Luke 1:35)

...a Son was given...

This Son was given by God, who loved us
(John 3:16) even when we were dead in our offenses and sins (Ephesians 2:4-5).

...the government
shall be upon His shoulder...

This Son, your King, died for your sins.
...Behold the Lamb of God!
(John 1:36)
...Behold the man!
(John 19:5)
...Behold your King!
(John 19:14)
...the Lamb...he is Lord of lords,
and King of kings...
(Revelation 17:14)

...and His name shall be called
Wonderful, Counselor,
The Mighty God,
The Everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace.

Believe these truths in your heart, confess your sins and call upon His name, Jesus! You will be saved. Jesus the Lord will become rich to you (Romans 10:10-13; 1 John 1:9).

Your heart was made to contain the life of God. As the verses of the song below testify, you will never be satisfied until you open to receive this Jesus! He will bring peace to your heart.

Though very great is all the world,
And very small is your heart,
Yet the great world with all it's wealth
Never can fill your small heart.

If you have Christ, you have all joys;
Without this Christ, only pains;
Where there is Christ, there morning is;
Where He is not, night remains.
